Is your teen struggling with their mental health and using substances to cope?

At Insight, we are one of the primary leaders in IOP (intensive outpatient treatment) struggling with anything from depression, anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse.

Dealing with a child who is experiencing drug or alcohol abuse can be utterly overwhelming. As parents, all we want is the best for our children, and our parental support group at Insight is a great outlet for parents to come together and support each other.

Many parents go through similar situations with their children…

And we encourage parents to learn and interact with one another to further help their children.

On this week’s episode of Insight Teen Hour, David Ibrahim from Glendale Counseling Services tells Frederik the importance of having that parent and child connection, through the good times and the bad times.

Teen mental health

Being able to play games with your child and then have those deeper conversations with them really goes a long way.

David shared his past struggles he has to overcome from coming from a household of divorce and an alcoholic parent. We also offer parent coaching at Insight, either in person or over the phone.

Limit setting, empowering the parents and knowledge of age-appropriate activities are part of our mission with our sessions of parental coaching.

Many teens who struggle with addiction are dealing with deeper issues, whether it be self-esteem or bullying and family involvement can help the child recover with positive support to fall back on from family.

No child struggling should deal with alone.

Our highly trained clinical team will help you and your family find help and hope. We are available at (888) 295-9995 for all of your questions or concerns.
