More Than Teen Counseling for Depression: Resources for Parents

Do you feel overwhelmed by your teen’s struggles with addiction? Does it feel like, when you’re trying to help your teen through their mental health issues, that you’re entirely on your own? The truth is that you aren’t alone, there is help available. We know just how difficult the last year has been on parents and their teens. To that end, we kept our doors open throughout the pandemic (and continue to do so to this day) offering a safe, secure option for teen counseling for depression, addiction, and more. We’ve offered virtual resources for parents and will continue to do so. These resources are always entirely 100% free.

Parent Support Meeting

On Tuesdays from noon to 2 PM, we’re offering a free two-hour telehealth Parent Support Meeting. These are held by one of our professional therapists here at Insight Treatment. In these, you can connect to other parents who are dealing with the same struggles that you are. There is a strength in community, in seeing those who have the same challenges.

Mental Health Team to Answer Your Questions

On Fridays from 9 AM to 11 AM, our mental health team is available. Specifically, they’re available to answer parent questions and concerns. This isn’t the “group” setting of the Tuesday meetings. Rather, this is to answer the questions and concerns that you might have. Now, as these are more personalized, their availability can be limited. We encourage you to reach out ahead of time so as to guarantee your spot. Should you be unable to connect with someone please leave us a message. If there’s something you need to ask someone, our professionals will be more than glad to answer it.

Insight Treatment is Ready to Help

Beyond Zoom and online options, we also offer parent support groups at every single one of our locations. Each of these groups are educational as well as process-oriented. So, you’ll not only get support from the other parents who are there for the same reasons you are, but you’ll also be able to learn and develop skills that can help your entire family. These groups are open to parents of teens struggling with any of the challenges that bring family members to Insight: addiction issues, behavioral problems, mental health concerns, even low academic achievement.

A Place for Teen Counseling for Depression, Addiction, and More

When a teen has depression, addiction, or some other issue, the entire family suffers. The entire family is with them. We understand that. Those are just some of the reasons that we do everything we can to educate, inform, and help the family as much as possible. We want the same thing you do – for your child to lead a healthy and happy life. At Insight, we’re always glad to be able to provide a thorough, comprehensive clinical assessment so as to figure out the best way that we can help your child. This assessment is entirely free and can be scheduled through our site or at (888) 295-9995.

Should your child require teen counseling for depression, addiction, or other issues, call us at (888) 295-9995.
