Yes, at Insight Treatment, we may be primarily known as a place where teens can get treatment for drug and alcohol issues. What We Can Treat and How We Can Help
Your teen doesn’t have to be in the midst of struggling with an addiction to be helped by our professionals here at Insight. Many of the teens we treat (if not a majority) are here for mental health treatment. That means they could be suffering from a mental health disorder, something like anxiety, depression, trauma, or even ADHD. By that same token, many of the teens here are being treated for behavioral issues. Those could include self-harm, aggression, or even isolation issues. The bottom line is that we help teenagers who are struggling with a wide range of issues.
A Treatment Plan as Unique as Your Teen
As you might imagine from having read the above section, here at Insight, every treatment plan is unique. They have to be. Teens that are dealing with aggression, for example, won’t be served by getting the same treatment plan as one that’s dealing with isolation issues. That said, one thing that many teens do tend to have in common: the mental health concerns, addictions, and the like, are symptoms. Specifically, they’re symptoms of underlying causes, underlying traumas. By identifying and dealing with those underlying concerns, we’re able to help the teen to overcome what they’re dealing with.
Insight Treatment: Not a Treatment “Facility”
If you’ve read our blogs or content for any length of time, you may have noticed that we’re loath to use the word “facility” to describe any of the Insight Treatment locations. That’s because our buildings really aren’t “facilities,” rather, they’re communities. They’re safe, supportive environments where teens can get the help they need while interacting and growing with their peers. Moreover, there are foosball tables, rock climbing walls, a dog (depending on which Insight Treatment you’re at). Every Insight Treatment is its own welcoming community.
