Art Walk 2019 with Dane Capo & Ernie Merlan was a Great Success!

Insight participated all summer in the Art Walk 2019. Art was a great success and gave us the opportunity to connect with the community. Insight wants to thank Ernie and his crew for joining us and creating an amazing painting collage for our new warehouse. We would also like to thank Dane, Krista and family for joining us and sharing some of Dane’s amazing and beautiful paintings. We look forward for next years Art Walk 2020.
Dane Capo a young artist from the South Bay who was diagnosed with autism and found his way through his amazing art will be exhibiting in our new South Bay IOP warehouse space on 115 Main Street, El Segundo.
Also Ernie Merlan who is founder of Exceptional Minds, a non-profit visual effects and animation school for talented young adults with Autism and has been creative director for numerous block buster movies in Hollywood, will be presenting some of his art at the facility.
Art often plays an integral role when supporting teens who are dealing with mental health issues. It allows for teens to express themselves in alternative ways, share emotional experiences and feel sense of accomplishments.
