At Insight, issues related to adolescent depression, low self-esteem, social functioning, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, risky behaviors, self-harming behaviors, co-dependency, family problems, academic problems, and/or drug and alcohol use are often addressed in group, individual, and family counseling. The Insight rehab staff members has undergone extensive training in the assessment and treatment of adolescent behavioral and emotional problems, and can offer therapeutic interventions and parent training to help create appropriate limits and healthy lifestyles for troubled teens presenting out of control or high risk behaviors.
For teens and young adults who may not need the structure of Insight Rehab’s Intensive Outpatient Program, teens and families can have individualized programs created for them which may include appropriate group, individual, couples, or family counseling, as well as case management. These programs are tailored to address the specific needs of higher functioning adolescents and their families and may vary from one group and one individual session per week to as many as 5 groups per week. Random drug testing, parent coaching and family education are also incorporated into the program to help reach long-term therapeutic goals.
