Last week we had the pleasure at Insight Treatment to have a visit from Jazmin Avalos, Miss Los Angeles County 2020. She is also set to compete for the Miss California title later this year. As a titleholder and contestant her social impact focus is on “Ending Substance Abuse”.
Jazmin was excited to come out to be able to see the facility in person. She learned about how we help treat teens and their families, as well as, the work we do to bring awareness to mental health and substance abuse issues. The passion Jazmin has for these issues aligns with the values of Insight.
We hope that together we can continue to do this important work and reach families in need of help and support. Jazmin is an amazing example of how using different platforms to bring awareness will help reach a greater audience!
