Dr. Regine and Donna discuss their own personal experiences, both growing up and now as parents themselves and go into depth about specific situations and which particular principle of the C.A.S.T.L.E Method would be best to utilize. In the end, Donna says each individual situation is unique, just as each kid and set of parents are and making those decisions will come from experience.

“Providing emotional security to the connection with your child, it is imperative, we also know that emotional security allows a person to work through mental health issues,” Donna said. “Providing our children a safe space to feel all of their emotions. The uncomfortable ones. The difficult ones. The joyful ones. But being really in tune to allowing all feelings to flow.”
