Program Aid, Santa Clarita

PART-TIME
Afternoon/Evening hours 2-7:30pm and rotating weekend schedule.
Pay Range: $16-18/hr depending on experience.
FLSA STATUS: Non-ExemptDEPT./Service: Client Support
 
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: 2 years’ experience with adolescent, 2 years sobriety if recovering. Training will be provided by Insight.
Preferred: Experience with 12-step model and in recovery.
Reports to: Program Director & Clinical Director
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assists Program Director and Clinical Director in management of the IOP. Provides peer support duties as assigned.
DUTIES:
 
§  Orientation of new clients to program rules
  • Stock up and take inventory
  • Supervise teens on breaks, during day program, and between groups
§  Ensure that the facility looks aesthetically pleasing upon arrival and departure (mop, sweep, all cleaning/sanitizing, stock up, organize rooms)
  • Drive clients to designated destinations, which include (but not limited to) gym, lunch, 12 step meetings and other activities.
§  Ensure clients kitchen is stocked at all times with water, food, cups, utensils, etc
§  Submit a supply list weekly for restock orders
§  Administer URs on clients as needed
§  Be present in all teen groups
§  Participate in staff development activities
§  Follow emergency procedures as outlined in protocols (contact Owner/Clinical Director & Program Director
  • Order food for clients and their families before MFG
  • Set up meeting rooms
  • Gather updated information for phone list & provide to Clinical Director for revision
  • Check client cell phones; including social media activity
  • Supervision of 12 Step meetings with clients and participate in on-call rotation
  • Create client charts, parent handbook, and client handbook
  • File away paperwork for clients
  • Conduct Outcome Tool surveys
  • Other duties as assigned by Program Director & Clinical Director
  • When census low- work on small projects, create trip videos, or any assignment asked by Program Director or Frederik
  • Organize fellowship with parents and give all info to designated counselor.
  • Participate in trips Big Bear, Catalina Island, etc.
  • Weekly facility walk-throughs and report any repairs or issues to Program Director
